Who This Applies To
This policy applies to individual skydivers, DZ owners, DZ staff, coaches, instructors, camera flyers, packers, marketplace users and visitors who use FallPath. Some information is provided directly by you; some may be entered by a participating DZ or staff member about your jump, waiver, booking, role or account activity.
Information We Collect
FallPath may collect account information, DZ affiliation, booking details, waiver status, jump records, logbook entries, coach signatures, voice debriefs, media uploads, wallet/payment metadata, marketplace listings, messages, support requests and device/technical information.
Skydiving Activity and Gear Data
Skydiving data may include manifest records, jump type, aircraft, exit altitude, exit order, jump run, landing pattern, credentials, progression milestones, reserve repack dates, AAD dates, canopy size and wing-loading information. Exit weight is treated as sensitive and is used only for wing-loading calculation and related safety/planning context — it is not shared with advertisers or public marketplace listings.
Identity and Payments
Stripe or another payment/identity provider may process payment, payout and identity verification information. The intended commitment is that FallPath receives verification status and related metadata, not raw ID document images or selfies, unless the final provider setup requires different disclosure.
Voice, Media and Logbook Data
Voice debriefs are processed to create structured logbook entries. Photos, videos, coach signatures, and verification hashes attached to a finalized entry are retained as part of that record. Signed logbook entries and waivers are retained as integrity records and cannot be altered by any party, including FallPath, once finalized.
Incident and Safety Reports
Formal incident reports may be tied to an account, DZ, event or investigation. Anonymous safety reports are designed so they cannot be technically linked back to the reporting account when submitted through the anonymous flow.
How We Use Information
FallPath uses data to operate manifest, booking, waiver, wallet, logbook, marketplace, support, reporting, fraud prevention, security and account features. We do not sell personal data. We do not train AI models on jump data, voice debriefs, medical-adjacent data or safety reports without a separate explicit policy and consent path.
Retention and Deletion
Signed waivers and finalized logbook records may be retained for at least seven years or longer where required by law or DZ policy. Media affected by a subscription downgrade may remain read-only for a 90-day grace period before deletion or reduced access. Exact retention periods should be confirmed before launch.
Security
FallPath should use reasonable safeguards such as encryption in transit, protected storage, access controls, logging and provider security controls. No internet service can be guaranteed completely secure.
International Transfers and Minors
FallPath may process data in Canada, the United States or other locations used by its service providers. Children and minors may be subject to additional consent, guardian and DZ eligibility rules depending on jurisdiction.
Your Choices
Users may request access, correction, export or deletion where available by law and compatible with finalized waivers, signed records, payment records, marketplace disputes and safety obligations.
Governing Jurisdiction and Contact
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. If FallPath restructures under a Delaware or other U.S. entity, this section will be updated accordingly.
